In Japanese, Kaizen (改善) means "change for the better" or "improvement," derived from kai (change) and zen (good), referring to a philosophy and practice of continuous, incremental improvements involving everyone in an organization for better productivity, quality, and efficiency, famously used by Toyota. It emphasizes small, ongoing positive changes rather than massive overhauls, fostering a culture of ongoing refinement in business and personal life.
