Reflections from March 25, 2022 – Day 14 of my journey.

“Indecision is the thief of opportunity.”

It doesn’t just steal your time.
It steals your focus, your peace, your drive.

Indecision plants doubt in your mind and then waters it with fear. It traps you in an endless loop of questions:
Should I be doing this?
Is this worth it?
Will anyone care?
Will this make me money?
Will the people around me even support it?

And so we sit. We hesitate. We spin.

The True Cost of Indecision

Over time, indecision doesn’t just delay you—it paralyzes you.
It becomes a tool that keeps you stagnant, playing small, never stepping into your calling.

I believe indecision is one of Satan’s most powerful tools.

It’s not always loud or obvious.
Sometimes it shows up as overthinking.
Sometimes it disguises itself as “being realistic.”
But its mission is the same:
To make sure you never discover your purpose.
To keep you from pursuing what God has placed in your heart.

Finding Purpose in the Wake of Loss

When my wife and I lost our son, Maxwell Seraphim, in December of 2021, I was plunged into the most painful, disorienting season of my life.

But even in the depths of that heartbreak, God planted a seed.
He gave me my why.

I’ll never forget the moment I felt Max kick inside my wife’s belly.
At the time, I didn’t realize how much that moment would mean.
But looking back now, I see it clearly:
That was the spark that sent my life on a completely new trajectory.

It was the moment God placed a calling over my life to live for something greater than myself.
To be better, every single day, in Max’s honor.

Three Years Later: Indecision Reappears

Reading back on this post now, three years later, I see just how much progress I’ve made.
But I also recognize something else: indecision never disappears completely.

As life evolves—some things become easier, but new challenges arise.
Right now, I’m pursuing a completely different career path, one I never would have imagined years ago.

And guess what?
That old voice of doubt?
It still whispers: Is this the right move?
Is this what I’m really meant to do?

But here’s the difference:
I know my why.
And when your actions are rooted in the why God gave you, you don’t need every answer.

You just need to keep pressing forward in faith.

Your Why Will Lead You

If you’re in a season of indecision—pause and reflect.
Look at how far you’ve come.
Look at what you’ve already overcome.
Look at the ways God has shaped your life, even through pain.

You may not have full clarity yet.
But if your why is grounded in purpose—God’s purpose for you—keep going.

Because indecision might try to steal your opportunity.
But your why?
Your why will carry you straight through the doubt.
